A shift in the mobile operating system landscape has occurred over the last several years. Microsoft has ended support for Windows® mobile applications and security patches are no longer available, leaving companies no choice but to upgrade to Android. Those who do not upgrade will be exposed to the security risks that are inherent in an unsupported operating system. This paper will elaborate on these points and provide the reader with guidance on recommended solutions.
